Traveling from the airport to central Ljubljana.
Traveling from the airport to central Ljubljana takes approximately 20 minutes (depending on traffic).
A shuttle bus runs from the airport to various hotels and costs 8 Euros (correct in February 2009).

The conference is taking place at the Cankarjev Dom Kultunri in Kongresni Center, Ljubljana’s cultural and congress centre which is located in central Ljubljana.

Getting around in Ljubljana
The centre of Ljubljana is relatively small and can easily be covered by foot. Maps of town will be provided in delegate bags and can also be obtained from the Concierge Desks at local hotels.

Tourist Attractions
Ljubljana has many attractions for visitors including the following:
- Ljubljana Castle
- Museums including the National Museum, the Museum of Modern Art and the City Museum of Ljubljana
- Ljubljana river and its bridges

Exploring Further Afield
Delegates wishing to extend their stay in Slovenia may like to consider visiting the surrounding area.
Postojna (53km from Ljubljana) is famous for its underground caves and castle.
Bled (54km from Ljubljana) is a popular tourist destination which includes a glacial lake and 11th century castle.
Ljubljana is also a short distance from Krvavec, one of the most popular Slovenian ski resorts.
